Africomplings 2026

Call for Application

Africa Computational Linguistics Summer School has been founded to equip native speaker linguists of African languages with the technological skills for transitioning into different roles in the industry.

Participation in the summer school is free to every scholar or enthusiast of African languages.

However, participants are required to do all the assigned assignments and a final project. This requirement has been implemented so that participants can submit the required documents for their transcript and certification.

All participants are required to have a minimum of 80% attendance to be qualified for getting the transcript and certificate.

The introductory session on the 13th of July 2026 is compulsory. Absence without prior notification will lead to disqualification. Only present attendees for the intro session will be selected for the program.

Note: This is a virtual event, and all sessions will be conducted online.
